Folks, this time i wanna share my loev and everlasting relationship with CAT ! ! (CAT here, doesnt mean Katrina Kaif, but the cOMMON aDDMISSION tEST - that is what every indian guy thinks of, ofcourse next to Katrina Kaif :-) and i am no different from them!
i started off to take AIM - CATS with Time institute a year ago and i still remember the first test and my fabulous performance in it!
Now, i can relate Paulo Coelho's words in ALCHEMIST to my story.. "Its the Theory of Favourability" or the Beginner's luck! which will enhance your desire of attaining it. A good Omen ofcourse!
As days passed, i began to dive deep into CAT preparation... err.. to be frank, the more i did was talking about CAT rather than preparing for it!!.. anywayzz.. just like any other tyro, i too learnt mathematics by applying it to the real life!
The PROBABILITY of a girl falling for me, the PERMUTATION and COMBINATION, we guyz applied to calculate how many of my friends will turn up for the weekend boozing, the NUMBERS which showed my poor bank balance and the TIME i wasted to doing all sorta nonsense!!
There are so many good aspects of CAT which comes handy in guys' life so much! even though my AIM-cats miserably failed, i wont say my preparation went in vain. certain short cuts, learnt for CAT helped me to solve INFOSYS aptitude paper in a real quick pace, and also was able to help a gal who sat beside me and created an impression!! so... KUDOS to cat preparation!
when it comes to show off, am second to none! when questoned about my performance (even after scoring only 75 to 80 percentile :- ) i would say "yea dude!! it was fine! ".... sorry guyz.. this is the influence of personality management courses,, especially,, positive mirroring and stuff, taught to me by CORPORATE INDIA :-)
This is how, my story of CAT preparation goes!! when yu ask for the puporse of life to a 22 year old in INDIA, it would be CAT and its a great feel to prepare and fight!
